Those About to Die – Season 1 Trailer

I’m pretty excited about this one! The only bummer is I’ll have to get a Peacock subscription, boooooo.

Did you like the movie Gladiator? Are you excited about the Gladiator sequel coming out later this year? Well, if you like gritty, bloody, historical dramas, you might also by psyched about Those About to Die, a new series coming out on Peacock this July.

I really wish the trailer was longer, but we get a sense for what the series will be about. Looks like plenty of sex, blood, and deceit set in ancient Rome. I’m also excited to see that Anthony Hopkins will be starring in the series as Emperor Vespasian. This is significant because Emperor Vespasian had the Flavian Amphitheatre built, better known as the Roman Colosseum. So, we could be looking at a series set around when the Colosseum was new at the peak of the age of gladiators.
