Bridgerton – Season 3 Trailer

It’s almost here guys. Season 3 of Bridgerton. I’ll admit, when Bridgerton season 1 first came out I made fun of it. I watched an episode or two and thought I was above the craze. But then one day I was bored so I watched another episode… then another… Now it’s kind of a guilty pleasure. Bridgerton’s gossipy, with lots of frills and pretty colors. It’s also reminiscent of a historical drama and I LOVE those. It basically revolves around a bunch of nobles and well off families in London during the Regency era in the early 1800’s. It’s all about young newly marriageable individuals being introduced into the social scene to find good matches and all the drama that ensues. Okay, so it’s a bit shallow, but it’s entertaining.

Each season is essentially a love story, and season 3 appears to be the one promising to bring together Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton. Penelope has long held a torch for Colin, but that love has thus far been unrequited. Unfortunately, the trailer looks like it spells out the story line for the season. Colin comes back, decides to help Penelope find a husband, and falls in love with her during the process. Oh, and there’s a competing suitor that Penelope will probably leave on the wayside for Colin at the end. I’m really hoping there are at least some twists in there to make the story more complex and keep us on our toes.

Season 3 is coming out in 2 parts, the first on May 16th and the second on June 13th. Are you looking forward to it? Let me know what you think!
